Watch the amazing session we had with Meltem Arikan today. She led us in Groove dance. We learned a process to help us connect to our bodies like it was when we were children. A couple of us even had an emotional release.

We also learned how autistic people tend to be more in the sympathetic nervous system that can lead to increased muscle tension and anxiety. Meltem taught us a technique of muscle breathing relaxation that helps to keep the nervous system regulated. It really works to feel more relaxed and to stop anxious thinking in the moment.
